Osage Creek - Scott's OG 3.5g
Scott's OG, also known as “Scott OG,” is an indica dominant hybrid strain (70% indica/30% sativa) created through crossing the classic Triangle Kush X Rare Dankness #1 strains. Best known for its classic kushy flavor and super arousing high, Scott's OG is a great choice for any classic indica lover. The high starts almost as soon as you exhale, roaring through your mind with a heady lift that's filled with pure euphoria and happiness. You'll find no room for negative moods or racing thoughts as your mind lifts to new heights of bliss and creativity. A light physical relaxation accompanies this heady lift, keeping your body anchored and adding a sharp pang of hunger to the mix. In combination with its high 23-28% average THC level, these effects make Scott's OG a great choice for treating conditions such as chronic stress or anxiety, appetite loss or nausea, chronic pain, PTSD and depression or mood swings. This bud has a sour and citrusy lemony Kush flavor with touches of flowery woods. The aroma is on the same level, with an earthy flowery overtone accented by woody pine and sour lemony citrus.
More about this strain: Scott's OG
Scott’s OG was created by Colorado seed bank Rare Dankness between 2010 and 2011.
There’s a misperception it’s named for Rare Dankness founder Scott Reach (whose nickname “Moonshine” was the inspiration for the seed bank’s Moonshine Haze.) In reality, the strain’s named for Reach’s close friend, legendary breeder Scott Blakey, aka Shantibaba. Reach said Scott’s OG is an extremely potent bud that often tests above 25% THC. It’s been used as the base for crosses by countless up-and-coming seed companies.
The strain is a cross between a Triangle Kush female he acquired during his time with the Devil’s Harvest Krew, and pollen from a Rare Dankness #1 male. He said the Triangle Kush used to create this hybrid was commonly traded among trusted growers in the early days of the “green rush” when open genetics sharing was more common.
